Day 1: Welcome to Seoul, welcome to Korea
Upon arriving in Korea, Incheon International Airport, our staff will meet you at the arrival gate and escort you to hotel in Seoul. Have a rest for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Capital Seoul Tour
Our tour starts at Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest one of all five palaces in Korea. In Gyeongbokgung Palace, we will take a visit to Korean Folklore Museum. We will stop at Blue House for a while and take some pictures outside it. Then we will see Jongmyo Shrine, which was designated as a UNEWCO World Cultural Heritage and was a primary place of worship in Joseon Dynasty. Move to the landmark of Seoul - Seoul N Tower. Seoul is the paradise of shopping, we will go shopping at Insadong. You can buy souvenirs and fashionable goods at a reasonable price there.
Day 3: Stunning Gangghwan-do Tour
Gangghwan-do is an island located on the west coast of Korea and it is the 4th largest island in Korea. Our Gangghwan Island tour begins with Ganghwa History Museum, where the exhibitions show the history and culture of Ganghwa from prehistoric ages. Continue our tour to Ganghwa Dolmen Site. Ganghwa Dolmen was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Historic Site. Dolmen means stone tombs. Also visit Jeondeungsa Temple, in which several cultural treasures are situated. Before heading for Seoul, we will visit Chamseongdan Altar, where is said to be Dangun (the founder of the first Korean Kingdom) offered sacrifices to gods.
Day 4: Korea Border Tour to DMZ & Panmunjom
The day tour of DMZ & Panmunjom includes the visit to Imjingak Pavilion Freedom Bridge, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, DMZ theater, Dora Observatory, Dora Station, Unification Village, Registration, Mt.Odu Unification Observatory and North Korea Exhibition Room, Cross the Unification Bridge and arrive at Camp Bonifas, Slide Show and Briefing at Camp Bonifas and Tour of JSA.
Day 5: Seoul to Daejeon
Daejeon is the 5th largest city in Korea. Our drive is about 2 hours from Seoul. Upon arrival, we start our city trip in this vibrant city. Visit Hanbat Arboretum and enjoy this Korea’s largest manmade urban arboretum. We will also go to the highest mountain in Daejeon Sikjang Mountain. Go shopping or walking at Eunhaengdong Euneungjeongi Culture Street, which is located in the city center.
Day 6: Daejeon Highlight Tour
Let’s start our Daejeon city tour. We will have a walk along Daecheong Lake. Next move is to Gyejoksan Mountain Red Clay Trail. This 14km long trail attracts many participants to the Mt. Gyejoksan Barefoot Festival in every May. We should not miss EXPO Science Park, which includes amusement park, observation tower and a garden. After having a good time at Yusung Hot Springs, We will drop you off at the hotel in Daejeon.
Day 7: Tour to Ancient Capitals of Baekje
Both Gongju and Buyeo are the ancient capitals of Baekje Dynasty. We will have a historic-site tour today. Firstly we go to Gongju and visit Magoksa Temple, Gongju National Museum and Royal Tomb of King Muryeong. All the 2,906 items are displayed at Gongju National Museum and 12 of them were designated as National Treasures. Next we will move to Buyeo and take a visit to Busosanseong Fortress and Jeongnimsaji Temple. Stay overnight in hotel in Daejeon.
Day 8: Jeonju Slow Pace Tour
Let’s move on to Jeonju. As a slow city, Jeonju mixes both urban and rural life styles. We will visit the famous Jeonju Hanok Village, where over 800 traditional Korean houses are located. We can enjoy traditional Korean life and traditional foods in the Jeonju Hanok Village. In the village, we will come across Gyeonggijeon Shrine (Historic Site No. 339) that housed royal portraits. Several kings’ portraits are in the Gyeonggijeon Shrine. Jeondong Catholic Cathedral is also in the village.
Tonight, we will have a special night and enjoy Hanok stay.
Day 9: Seocheon and Boryeong Leisure Tour
Before we drive to Boryeong, we will firstly go to Sinseong-ri Reed Field in Seocheon. It is one of the top four fields of reads in Korea, with an area of about 60,000 pyeong. We will also visit Seocheon Museum of Marine. Proceed to Boryeong, the home to Boryeong Mud Festival, which takes place in every July. If we are lucky enough to attend the festival, we must have a unique experience in Korea. Today, our Boryeong tour includes Gaehwa Art Park and Dacheon Beach. Gaehwa Art Park is a them park that contains Mosan Fine Arts Museum, Birim Park, Yukpilsi Park, Hwain Music Hall, and Herb Land.
We will stay overnight in Boryeong.
Day 10: Deoksan Provincial Park Tour
On our way back to Seoul, we will come across a provincial park - Deoksan Provincial Park and spend some time there. Deoksan Provincial Park boasts beautiful valleys and Sudeoksa Temple. Sudeoksa Temple was designated as National Treasure No. 49, that fixed the building styles of Goryeo Dynasty and Baekje Dynasty. Taking a 2-3 hours hiking course at Deoksan Provincial Park and breath with fresh air, we will relax ourselves after the long journey. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Seoul.
Day 11: Goodbye Seoul, goodbye Korea
